Michael Weatherly is now the hero of âBullâ a hit not only in the US but also in France and many people around the world. Michael gave us an interview in New-York also announcing that he will be reunited with Cote de Pablo on screen soon which will be a dream come true for all the NCIS fans around the world. The season 2 of Bull » ended with your character having a heart attack. How sensitive was it for you to shoot that scene and how is season 3 going? Michael Weatherly I loved it. I have sympathetic pain in my back so as we were shooting the scene, I was actually having my back cease so some of the winzes were actually my pain. It was phantom pain that I was creating, actors are weird. I had a great time shooting it because I love the layers of Bull. Bull can be seen as an episode of television where there is crime, and someone is accused, and we figure out the guy and most of the time things end up well. And that can be satisfied in a nutshell. But the layers of characters and what itâs talking about in terms of society today and why certain people are shut out from being helped whether itâs healthcare or some sort of bias that are racial or sexist or ageist, I think the idea of Bull having a heart attack is perfect. Because he is a man with an enormous heart who wants to help so many people, but he is a very lonely man who has no one to share his heart with personally. He is like somebody who works in a charity organization, they pour themselves into it and thy get nourished by helping thousands and thousands of people but they donât have any one on one connection. This is Bull all the way even now as we shoot. We start season 3 of Bull and he is gone away, and he comes back and he has lost some weight, looks great but itâs surface. And as we move through the episode, we see he hasnât done the work on his heart. His heart is fixed as a mechanism but not in the true figure meaning of it. You recently said that now being the lead , you realized how hard it was for Mark Harmon on âNCISâ. What did you notice that make such a difference? Michael Weatherly Iâll tell you a very interesting thing when you are number two or lower you actually know more information because when you are number one they donât want you to know about things because whether itâs a legal liability or they just donât want to bother you or they want to keep you in a bubble. I watched Mark tried very hard to stay out of that bubble and stay integrated, in touch and have the information. People want to isolate you to protect you. But that isolation can sometimes have the opposite, it actually creates an anxiety because you think âwell I donât know whatâs going onâ. And while you get anxious, behavior starts to happen when you arenât as together as you should be. Iâm working hard to stay together, donât worry everybody laugh And thatâs the less obvious part. The hours are incredible, the pressure to carry a show, knowing that if it fails you are in a large part responsible for that success or failure. In success I know it has nothing to do with me but in failure I would probably taking all the blame. Ultimately it feels you have less leg room as a character because there is a certain hero quality you have to have, therefore you canât be as complicated. Again, I learned from Mark Harmon that your job is to stay complicated and be rigorous with that. Luckily, we have a great writer Glenn Gordon Caron from Medium and Moonlighting. He makes sure that Iâm very complicated. Much more complicated that I am in real life cause as you know Franck Iâm a very simple person. You turned 50 this year. Apart from apnea, what are the major changes? Michael Weatherly Sleep apnea. I even get sometimes to work, and I have these little marks on the face from the little machine I have. I know itâs gruesome to know that Iâm wearing some sort of contraption when I sleep but I do sleep better. I noticed the other day that I reached for the remote control and I had a little pop in my back, thatâs just because Iâm not stretching. Metabolism to this point has just slowed to like cold honey, itâs just you know when youâre pouring honey and itâs just cold and not coming at all. I think Iâm running when Iâm actually just fast walking. I say to people Iâm going for a run and then itâs just a walk! But I still call it a run smile You are working with Cote de Pablo on a project ? Michael Weatherly Yes sheâs been calling me all morning. There is a big meeting going on in LA about this project called MIA. It is set in Miami. Weâre finding very soon if it becomes a pilot. We are producers and hopefully we will get to pop in it and act in it as well. Itâs a lot of fun. Itâs a very fast paced cop show with a female lead, detective show. Cela a dĂ» ĂȘtre intense Ă jouer ? Interview Franck Ragaine

Bennett Raglin/Getty Images "NCIS" isn't one of the longest-running crime dramas of all time merely by chance. Fans of the show have long created a bond with characters from the original Season 1 NCIS Major Case Response Team. Led by Leroy Jethro Gibbs Mark Harmon, the team also featured Anthony "Tony" DiNozzo Michael Weatherly, Timothy McGee Sean Murray, Caitlin "Kate" Todd Sasha Alexander, and soon after, Ziva David Cote de Pablo, along with Abby Sciuto Pauley Perrette and Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard David McCallum. Tony and Ziva quickly solidified themselves as the show's will-they-or-won't-they couple after Ziva's first appearance in Season 3 of "NCIS." This relationship continued all the way until de Pablo's departure in Season 10, although Ziva was mentioned all the way until Season 13, where she was seemingly killed off-screen in her home country of Israel. This led to DiNozzo getting written off "NCIS" so that he could take care of Tali, his daughter with Ziva. Eventually, Ziva was revealed to be alive and returned in Season 17 of "NCIS," revealing her intention of staying hidden to protect her family. She would then leave for good to join Tony and Tali in Paris. It was a fitting send-off for Ziva, according to Cote de Pablo herself. However, Michael Weatherly never returned to "NCIS" to appear alongside his longtime co-star in Season 16, leaving many fans to wonder about the actual relationship between Weatherly and de Pablo behind the scenes. Here's what we know. Weatherly and de Pablo initially didn't get along, but they became fast friends Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images According to Michael Weatherly, during their first screen test together for "NCIS," Cote de Pablo was not his biggest fan. "I remember so vividly the screen test with Cote. She just loathed me instantly â and I mean Michael Weatherly â but we quickly became very close friends," Weatherly told Deadline. Although he didn't reveal much to explain why that was the case, de Pablo had noted that soon after, they had an "immediate attraction" via Entertainment Weekly. The friendship lasted even after de Pablo's departure from the show, as she came back for the viewing party for Weatherly's final episode with "NCIS" to support him via E! News. In a 2018 interview with People, Weatherly had even shared how much his on-screen romance and chemistry with de Pablo reminds him much of his own relationship with his off-screen wife, Bojana JankoviÄ. Weatherly said, "She and my wife get along very well, of course, because they both know that I'm wrong all the time." Weatherly and de Pablo even tried to create their own show Featureflash Photo Agency/Shutterstock In 2018, after both Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo's time with "NCIS" had ended, it was confirmed that they were attempting to create their own television show titled "MIA," which would follow a Miami detective and her partner through crimes as she navigated the challenges in her personal life via TVLine. They were set to executive produce "MIA" at CBS, the home of "NCIS," although it ended up never getting off the ground. It's unclear if the show is floating around in the Hollywood ether, although given that Weatherly and de Pablo were willing to work together again in that capacity, it's certainly probable that their good relationship has lasted. All things considered, both de Pablo and Weatherly have vocalized that their relationship is nothing but mutual respect and love in a professional sense, although it had been rumored that they had dated, according to the Daily Express. Fans are anxiously waiting to see if Weatherly and de Pablo will ever reappear together on an episode of "NCIS," although with Mark Harmon's departure this season, it seems to be getting more and more unlikely. Season 19 of "NCIS" airs on CBS and online through CBS All Access.
